Rouse Hill has been at the centre of recent and ongoing rapid population growth, with many families choosing to make a home here. To support this growing and vibrant area of north west Sydney, the NSW Government has committed $700 million to deliver a new Rouse Hill Hospital, which is being delivered in partnership with Health Infrastructure and Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD).

In late 2021, a site was acquired on the corner of Windsor and Commercial roads to build the new hospital, with enabling works set to commence onsite in early 2023.

The Rouse Hill Hospital will deliver a range of high quality health care to suit the specific health needs of the community such as Emergency Services, Inpatient and Outpatient Services. The hospital, which is being designed in consultation with health professionals and the community, will embrace advanced digital technology and innovative models of care to bring world-class health services right into the home.

What's included?

Delivered in one stage, the new hospital will include:
  • An Emergency and Urgent Care Department
  • In-patient beds
