About our development

The NSW and Australian Governments have committed $910 million to build a new Rouse Hill Hospital on the corner of Commercial and Windsor roads, to deliver a range of health services centred around the needs of the patient.

The Rouse Hill Hospital is part of the Western Sydney Local Health District which is responsible for managing public healthcare across 120 suburbs, spanning 780 kilometres across Blacktown, The Hills Shire, Cumberland and Parramatta.

Western Sydney Local Health District has worked with a number of stakeholders to develop a Clinical Services Plan that reflects a hospital of the future, hard wiring innovations in health care delivery, sustainability and digital healthcare. Extensive research and consultation has been undertaken to ensure the hospital has a patient-centred design, that can deliver a facility that is focused on the patient journey from care in the home, through to acute care in a hospital ward.

Rouse Hill Hospital will become part of a leading network of health services which provide comprehensive integrated care and community-based services. To find out more about the hospital's services, visit Western Sydney Local Health District.
