We are excited to announce that Nathan Ferguson has joined the Rouse Hill Hospital development project team as Manager of Implementation and Delivery.
Nathan is dedicated to creating a hospital of the future that leverages cutting-edge technologies and innovative care models. His goal is to work with the team to ensure we provide high-quality, accessible healthcare services that meet the needs of the local community. This will involve fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment within Rouse Hill Hospital and ensuring it is integrated across the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD).
Nathan Ferguson has joined the Rouse Hill Hospital development project team as Manager of Implementation and Delivery Nathan’s career with our District began a decade ago after completing his Bachelor of Health Science, when he was offered a health management traineeship at WSLHD. This enabled him to work in rotation across a number of departments whilst studying a Master of Health Administration. Since then, he’s played key roles in the redevelopment of Blacktown and Westmead hospitals, coordinating various stages from planning, to commissioning and delivery. After moving to the private sector to work on other health redevelopment projects including RPA and Tweed Valley Hospital, Nathan returned to WSLHD as an IT Business Partner within our Digital Health Solutions team, a role which focused on building relationships and working with various WSLHD teams on scoping new digital health requests. “I’m excited that we’re exploring the use of digital technology such as patient wearables and remote monitoring to enhance healthcare delivery at Rouse Hill Hospital," Nathan said.
“It’s a unique opportunity to build a new hospital from the ground up and look with fresh eyes how we deliver healthcare to our local community.”
Nathan is a proud native of Western Sydney, born at Blacktown Hospital. He’s an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying soccer and golf, and values spending quality time with family and friends, especially his young daughter, who just enjoyed her first Christmas.
